Our qualified educators look forward to working with you and your child to ensure we provide a smooth transition from home to kinder and a year full of rich learning opportunities.

The YMCA’s of Australia work together to provide opportunities for all people to grow in body, mind and spirit.

Respect, responsibility, caring and honesty are the values which guide the YMCA’s work.

The Casey RACE three year old kinder program aims to provide the above by providing a program which will enhance developmental assets, such as co-operation, understanding, trust, respect, unity and a sense of purpose.

Our program is based on the Early Years Learning and Framework (EYLF) and it identifies the five early years learning and development Outcomes:

  1. Children have a strong sense of identity
  2. Children are connected with and contribute to their world
  3. Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
  4. Children are confident and involved learners
  5. Children are effective communicators

The National Framework acknowledges that the families and communities in which children live are diverse, and children’s learning and development is enhanced when early childhood professionals respect their cultures and ways of knowing and being.

The National Framework recognises that every child will take a unique path to the five Outcomes and that all children will require different levels of support, some more than others.
