Water aerobic classes are a great low impact activity to keep you healthy and fit. Classes are run by qualified instructors and provide a safe and gentle environment for exercise.

We have a number of different programs and class styles on offer. No matter what age or ability you are, we can provide a comprehensive workout that leaves you feeling great. We provide floatation devices, music and qualified instructors to take you through the routines. Classes are run in our 50-metre indoor heated pool.

The programs we offer are:

Water Workout (WW)

Aqua Aerobics, suitable for all levels. You can have either an intense workout, or take it a little easier.

Deep Water Workout (DW)

An athletic class, designed to improve fitness, tone and core stability. You do not need to be a confident swimmer to do this class, as you will be wearing a buoyancy belt. If you want great results, this is the class to try.

Aqua Movers (AQM)

Aqua aerobics designed for our more senior participants, set in a fun and sociable environment. Come along for any reason – fitness, mobility, flexibility, strength but most of all for fun! Free tea and coffee afterwards!

Athletic Recovery (DWR)

Recovery is an important part of any athletes training program. This class is for all sports players and works on cardiovascular fitness and muscular endurance. It also focuses on the importance of stretching and releasing to help reduce muscle soreness in the days immediately following exertion. No tricky moves, just pure athletic recovery.

Aqua For All Abilities (AAA) 

A community based class designed to assist those with injuries and disabilities. Designed to improve functional movement, core strength and balance. Equipment is available for use. A 45 minute class that concludes with tea and coffee.
